Meet Dr Caroline Faucher

I am a Clinical Psychologist with a focused interest in sleep and its relationship with mental health and overall wellbeing. My work is grounded in the understanding that sleep is central to daily functioning, emotional regulation, and psychological health.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and lifestyle-informed, supporting meaningful and sustainable change through understanding and practical psychological strategies.

Originally from Quebec, Canada, I offer therapy in both English and French. I also enjoy working with people who, like me, now call Australia home, as well as those who are navigating periods of transition, change, or adjustment.

Research

Research has always run alongside my clinical work, and the two continually inform each other. My interest in sleep began during my doctoral research, where I explored the interactions between sleep, mental health, and cognition. That foundation shapes how I practise, bringing scientific insight together with a calm, structured approach to psychological care.

I'm also involved in other wonderful research projects on dog-assisted interventions to reduce stress, and the relationships between mental health and cognition in perimenopause and menopause.
